Currently, we are dancing twice a month. No partner or experience is necessary. All ages are welcome!
We dance on the fourth Sunday of the month from 3:30 pm – 7:00 pm (December being an exception due to the Christmas holiday) at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. The first half hour of dancing is focused on lessons for new dancers, though experienced dancers are especially needed to welcome and help the newcomers. Admission is $10 per adult, $5 for those below the age of 21, and free admission for children under the age of 12. In addition to cash, electronic payments are taken at the Casino.
This year we began dancing at the Polish American Society on the second Friday of the month from 7:00pm – 10:30pm. Please note that beginning in September, we will move those dances to the second Saturday of the month from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. Here again, the first half hour of dancing is focused on lessons for new dancers, though experienced dancers are especially needed to welcome and help the newcomers. Admission is $10 per adult, $5 below the age of 21, and free admission under the age of 12.
For the time being, please note that the dances at the Polish American Society are primarily cash at the door. Electronic payment options are currently under consideration but are not yet available. The only exception, which we can now accept at the door there, is payment with Zelle if you do have that available on your smart phone.
If you are experiencing the signs of having Covid, the flu, or any other illness, please don’t attend these dances.
Please refrain from wearing products with fragrances. Some of our dancers are sensitive to these products.
